A Funny Thing About the King

A Funny Thing About the King is a modern-day take on the life of King David. Set as
a Musical within a Musical, Sam is working on writing a musical about King David from Saul and Samuel to David and Bathsheba. This fun take on biblical history will have you laughing throughout with a message that leaves you hopeful about the story of redemption throughout the Bible.

Musicals have been a major part of Bethlehem during the last two decades. Popular titles such as Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd-Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat along with original musicals written in part or in full by David Langewisch, Senior Pastor of Bethlehem, have allowed a variety of talented people within the congregation to perform high-quality productions.

Hey You
Community Musical 2011

The 2011 Production by the Bethlehem Musical's LifeGroup was Hey You (previously run in 2004). Hey You is set in a 50's diner. Based on the story of the prodigal son, it tells of how far a son can wander and how far a father's love can reach!

Dates: November 11-13, 2011.
